- Customer Data means data submitted to the Services by or on behalf of a Customer.
Customer Data may include information about a Customer’s employees, contractors, or clients (such as homeowners or contacts).
BrushBoss processes Customer Data solely on behalf of and under the direction of the Customer, acting as a service provider or data processor, as applicable under law.
BrushBoss and its Customers are independent parties. BrushBoss does not control and is not responsible for the data handling practices of Customers.
Customer Responsibility
Customers are solely responsible for:
- Providing required privacy notices to their employees, contractors, and clients
- Obtaining any legally required consents
- Ensuring the legality and accuracy of Customer Data
- Responding to any data subject requests (including access, correction, or deletion)
BrushBoss does not control how Customers collect, use, or disclose information about their own employees, contractors, or clients.
If you are an employee, contractor, or client of a BrushBoss Customer, you should direct any privacy-related inquiries to that Customer, not to BrushBoss.

2.1 Information Provided Directly
We may collect information provided directly to us, including:
- Name, business email address, and company name
- Account credentials and role assignments
- Billing and invoicing information (processed via third-party payment processors; BrushBoss does not store full payment card numbers)

- Communications with BrushBoss, including emails, support tickets, and recorded Zoom meetings (where applicable)

- Handling all data subject requests
BrushBoss may generate aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data derived from Customer Data for internal analytics, benchmarking, and product improvement. This data does not identify any individual or Customer.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
BrushBoss does not guarantee data retention following account termination.
- Customer Data may be deleted at any time after termination
- Customer Data will generally be deleted within sixty (60) days after termination, unless retention is required by law
- BrushBoss does not guarantee data export, portability, or recovery after termination
Customers are responsible for exporting any data prior to termination.
6. Sharing of Information
BrushBoss may share information in the following limited circumstances:
Service Providers
We use trusted third-party service providers to operate the Services, including:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Supabase
- Stripe (payment processing)
- Resend (email delivery)
- Google Cloud Services
- Zoom
- Namecheap

Customers
Customer Data is accessible to and controlled by the Customer that provided it. BrushBoss may provide Customer Data to the Customer in connection with their use of the Services.

- Protect the rights, safety, or property of BrushBoss, Customers, Users, or others
